my family and I love eating at La Napolera and go there whenever we get the chance. the food is great and the price is always within budget. have and will continue to recommend this resturaunt to my friends and family and anyone else i meet for that matter. i must say one thing though and that is that in my opinion the Atlantic Blvd and New Phillips Hwy locations are much better food and ambience wise. :)

Avoid at all costs

This place is definitely over-rated by people with ignorant conceptions of what good mexican food should be like. The food is bland and tastes canned and/or not fresh. Both the steak and chicken were over cooked, rubbery, and dry. The tortillas were flavorless, dry, and crumbled easy. It reminds me of public elementary school cafeteria food from the 80s. The dining area is an amalgam of kitsch that looks like Big Lot's interpretation of Mexico. The bathrooms resemble that of a truck stop gas station. The whole place is not exactly "clean". It may be cheap, but I don't care how drunk you might be, nothing can make this place worth going to.

If you liked chewing copy paper and glue as a kid, you will love this place

We passed up on going to one of our favorite Mexican places and instead went to the new location on Phillips and Baymeadows. Our first and last visit. Very noisey. Below average service. And food that had no flavor or texture beyond that of copy paper soaked in Elmer's glue to make paper mache whatevers. I have no idea why this gets more than one star. I would give less if possible

Wonderful food

This is our family's absolute favorite restaurant. Sometimes we have to wait to get in but its well worth the wait. The service is good, the atmosphere is typical Mexican restaurant but the food is fantastic. I can't say enough about it. The Taco Pastore are my favorite along with the chimichangas and taco salads. My son adores the nachos and my wife enjoys everything.
